Kathleen "Katie" is attending a local university and majoring in nursing. In her spare time, Katie enjoys reading and spending time with her friends. It is her goal to become a nurse practitioner and work in a rural hospital on a children's cancer ward.

Colonel’s Scholars is a program of the Kentucky Fried Chicken Foundation, an independent 501©(3) charity funded by KFC, its employees, franchisees and KFC patrons and seeks to provide high school students scholarship resources to attend post-secondary schools within their states of residence.
